Hormone Balancing Sweet Potato Brownies

- 1 cup Sweet potato, without skin, mashed roast, steam, or microwave to soften
- 1/2 cup Sunflower butter or nut/seed butter of choice
- 1/4 cup Maple syrup, pure
- 1/4 cup Cacoa powder, organic if possible
- 1 tbsp Maca powder, organic is possible
- 1 handful Pecans, chopped
- 1 oz Dark chocolate, chopped
Preheat oven to 350° F.
Add sweet potatoes, nut/seed butter, and maple syrup to a mixing bowl and combine.
In a separate bowl, mix the cacoa and maca powders together.
Combine both the dry ingredients and the wet ingredients together and combine thoroughly.
Fold the pecans into the batter.
Lather coconut oil, ghee, or avocado oil on the bottom of the baking dish to prevent the brownies from sticking. You could also use parchment paper.
Spoon the brownie batter into the baking dish and spread evenly.
Top with a sprinkle of pecans and chopped dark chocolate.
Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes.
Let cool for 10 minutes before enjoying with your favorite warm beverage. Mmmm
